Tomorrow's Wish - Thanks To You My Baby / Got To Keep You Mine - Mailing 27th April

Two previously unreleased tracks from the 80's produced by Manny Campbell of The Nu'Rons fame. "Got To Keep You Mine" is a cool mid-tempo dance tune, but the side for us is "Thanks To You My Baby" - pitched somewhere between two-step and mid-tempo it builds gorgeously and is well deserving of turntable time.

Tomorrows Wish were a group from Atlanta Georgia that consisted of vocalist Lester Carr & backed by Mary Spencer & Kimberlyn Williams. Later, Lester Carr traveled with Atlanta's own The Tams for over two decades after as a background singer.
They came to prominence when their 1990 12” single “My Love with You” B/W “You
Happened to Me” caught the attention of soul fans, especially in the UK.
These 2 previously unreleased tracks came from the vaults of Atlanta, Georgia based group Tomorrows Wish under the guidance of Manny Campbell and Emandolynn Music. These tracks were recorded & Mixed At Crescendo Studios, Atlanta, GA between 1987 and 1989, but for some unknown reason never gained a release.
A few years later, they went on and recorded a full gospel album under Emandolynn Music gospel imprint Glory Bound Records, entitled Cause God Is The Answer. Project contains a ensemble arranged by producer Emanuel Campbell (Emandolynn Music) and backed by guitarist Harry Case (known for his highly sought after LP ‘In A Mood’), as well as renowned keyboardist Oliver Wells and bassist Ricky Keller (both of fusion group LIFE FORCE fame).

With the help of Manny & Emandolynn Music Soul Direction bring you these 2 tracks
mastered from almost lost tapes and present them to you on 7” vinyl for the very first time.
