The Summits - Window Shopping / Phillips - People Clap Your Hands - In Stock Now

Joe Phillips is another of a long line of unsung talents from Washington D.C. His work with The Summits produced two 45 releases on the D.C International Records label, with other tracks sadly failing to see release. Now one of those unissued tracks, "Window Shopping" is finally available on vinyl, and in the wonderful group harmony style of the Summits it now sits proudly alongside their other great releases.

On the flip of this double-header 45 we have another of Joe's productions, credited to a group simply named Phillips, "People Clap Your Hands". Again, it's previously unreleased on vinyl, and this track takes a different direction as a feel good dance tune with mighty fine percussion and an insistent bass line that will make you want to join the band's party get down.
